Why play it?
Radiation makes you strong. Then it kills you.
DOSE is a co-op extraction action RPG for one to four survivors. You drop into a cartoony, radioactive wasteland, fight your way through mutant packs, soak up as much radiation as you dare, and try to make it back to the beacon before the dose burns you out. Everything you carry out is yours. Everything you die with stays behind.

There is no XP bar. Every rad you absorb levels you up and raises your health, right up to the point where the sickness starts eating it again.

Every level puts three mutation cards on screen. You keep one, and the run doesn't pause while you choose. Each mutation is a trade: hit harder but take more damage, glow less but level slower, grow crystal plating and lose speed. Stack them and your survivor changes shape, run after run.

Pick one of four classes, each with a male and a female survivor. Their skills are built to combo.
Play with friends over Steam or LAN. Empty seats can be filled with bots. Downed crewmates can be revived or dragged to the beacon.

15 extraction bosses guard the beacons and 20 dungeon bosses wait underground. Each one has phases, tells you can learn and poise you can break. Every kill is graded on the Boss Board, so you can see which crew did it fastest.

Light the flare, hold the ring while everything nearby comes at you, and bank your dose with a bonus for every survivor who makes it out. Gear you extract goes to your stash. Gear you die with is gone. Bank enough dose and you climb the season ranks, from Clean all the way to Meltdown.

Ten biomes, from frozen ruins to a glowing fungal forest, with day, night, rain, lightning and rad storms. Head into the open world on an expedition or jump into a quick run. Drop into vaults, sewers, subways and bunkers. Blow up cars, crack buildings open and bring them down on the horde.
DOSE is in active development. Numbers above are what's in the current build and may change as we balance the game.
