01Who we are (the data controller)

DOSE is developed and published by Kunki Games. Kunki Games is the studio name of Hoang Duc Vu ProtoSoft, a sole proprietorship (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza) based in Warsaw, Poland.

02What we collect and why

• Playtest signup: your email address, which form you used and when. We use it to confirm your signup and to email you when DOSE playtests open. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box on the form.
• Emails you send us: your address, name if you give it and your message, so we can reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Analytics: Google Analytics records the pages you view, roughly where you are (country and city, worked out from your IP address), your device and browser, the site that sent you and how you use the page. We use it to see which pages work. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See the Cookie Policy: https://dose-game.com/cookies.
• Server logs and spam protection: our host records your IP address, browser, the page requested and the time, to run and secure the site. The signup form also keeps your IP address in memory for 10 minutes to stop spam. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising profiles or make automated decisions about you.

03Who processes data for us

• Vercel Inc. (USA): hosts the website and keeps its server logs.
• Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA): sends our emails and stores the playtest contact list.
• Google (Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC): Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager; Google Workspace for our inbox.

When you follow a link to Discord, YouTube, X or Steam, that service's own privacy policy applies.

Some of these providers store data in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

04How long we keep it

• Playtest list: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, or until we stop running DOSE playtests. We then delete your address within 30 days.
• Emails: as long as the conversation needs, then up to 2 years in case it continues.
• Analytics: up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
• Server logs: kept by Vercel for a short time under its own retention rules.

05Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it or to receive it in a portable format. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting what happened before. To leave the playtest list, reply to any of our emails or write to contact@kunkigames.com.

We answer within one month.

You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, https://uodo.gov.pl.

06Children

The playtest list is for people aged 16 or over. If you are younger, please do not sign up.

07Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its date. If a change is significant and you are on the playtest list, we will email you.
